Mahama honoured as Nkosuohene at Kwahu

His excellency President Mahama is now the Nkosuohene of the whole Kwahu Ridge

The Acting Omanhene of the Traditional Area and chief of Abetifi speaking on behalf of the Chiefs in the area, thanked the President for the numerous projects in the area.

The Chiefs of Kwahu in the Eastern region have heaped praises on President John Mahama for his outstanding performance when it comes to infrastructure development and provision of certain basic social amenities.






The Acting Omanhene of the Traditional Area and chief of Abetifi, Nana Asiedu Agyeman lll, speaking on behalf of the Chiefs in the area, thanked the President for the numerous projects in the area.
 He expressed the gratitude of the Kwahu people for the decision by government to locate the second campus of the Eastern University in the area, announcing a 600 acre land allotted by the chiefs for the construction.
He mentioned the Fodoa Community Day Secondary School, the ultra-modern hospital in Abetifi, asphalting of major roads in Kwahu, work on the Nkawkaw-Atibie road, the Kwahu water project, the upgrade of some basic schools and many more others taking place in the area.

His excellency [Mahama] is now the Nkosuohene of the whole Kwahu Ridge, he noted.
